Sources and data

The source is part of the claim

A technical reading is only as specific as the material behind it. Muretto documents the relevant source category and does not turn an unavailable field into a completed fact.

Data used by the site

The site’s racing and telemetry material is derived from f1db, FastF1, Track Insights and OpenF1. Each dataset has its own coverage and latency; a displayed value belongs to the source that generated it.

Documents and reported material

Technical articles may also cite FIA documents, official team material or identified reporting when relevant. A source is not treated as proof of a different fact than the one it actually supports.

When a field is absent

If a source does not contain the needed measurement, the result is absence or uncertainty. This is especially important for private car geometry, component performance and causal attribution during a weekend.
